Naiza Cosmetics strives to promote awareness in the community that “Halal is not just about food but it also applies to skin care”. Specific demand for Halal personal care products is in turn being driven by an increased consumer awareness and knowledge of the ingredients used in the formulation of personal care products and the way they are produced. Naiza Halal Cosmetics has a vision to provide its community with pure, clean, cosmetic products that abide by Halal standards. The word “Halal” is an Arabic word used many times in the Qur’an, which means Permitted or Acceptable according to Islamic law.
It’s the opposite of Haram which means Prohibited or Unacceptable. In the Holy Qur’an Allah commands us to avoid Haram foods and to have only Halal foods; it’s mandatory.
“O ye who believe! Eat of the good things wherewith We have provided you, and render thanks to Allah if it is (indeed) He whom ye worship” (Qur’an 2:172). Naiza Cosmetics’ mission is to provide cosmetics that come from natural sources like plant extracts, use raw (unrefined) ingredients and avoid any animal products.
There has been a common misconception up until now about what constitutes Halal, with many people assuming that it relates purely to food. Others who have had a better understanding of the rulings have simply been unaware that some cosmetics contain ingredients that they should avoid. Now, with the introduction of Naiza Halal Cosmetics, InShaAllah it will provide its customers with pure, clean, Halal and Vegan cosmetic products. We at Naiza have strived for many years to produce a line of Cosmetics which are free from Alcohol, Animal products and Harsh Chemicals.
